The new SUVs in 2020 represent the Infiniti QX80 2019-2020 – the Japanese car giant that survived the next restyling. In our review Infiniti QX80 2020 – photo, price, configuration and specifications of the 7-seat SUV premium-class with a 5.3 meter body and 405-horsepower petrol V8 under the hood.
The public premiere of the updated Infiniti QX80 is scheduled for November 14, 2019 in Dubai, the launch of sales of new versions of QX80 in North America, the Middle East and Asia will be at the end of the current beginning of the future of 2020. Production of new items started in Japan in October. According to preliminary information, the price of the new Infiniti QX80 2019-2020 in Russia will remain at the level of the pre-styling version of the model and will be from 4130000 rubles, to the market of Russia the updated Infiniti QX80 will reach the spring of 2020.
I would like to note that the Infiniti QX80 SUV, which is the sister brother of Nissan Patrol (in North America, sold under the name of Nissan Armada ), is sold in Russia rather sluggishly. As a result of 8 months of 2019, its customers found only 318 machines, while the competitor from Lexus – the Lexus LX model found in the domestic market almost 10 times more owners, more precisely 3165 buyers. It is interesting that almost a third of Russian motorists chose the Lexus LX with a diesel engine with a 4.5-liter 272-horsepower engine.
The current Infiniti QX debuted in March 2010, though under the name Infiniti QX56. In 2013, the model changed its name to the Infiniti QX80, after which in the spring of 2014 the SUV experienced a planned restyling, which mainly affected the design of the exterior of the body and wheel disks. It would seem that looking at the age of the model, which is solid by modern standards, the Infiniti brand is logical to develop a new generation of the model, but the Japanese limited themselves to the next second facelift for the QX80.
Just say that the update process affected mainly the exterior of the car, minimal interior and without interference remained the technique of the car.
Having survived the changes, the Infiniti QX80 got a completely new front end. The new “face” of the Japanese giant SUV is more stylish and organic than the pre-reform model with its, mildly, dull and sad front end. Novelty flaunts the rose above, the new all-LED headlights, a larger falshradiatornoy grating, a hood with a different terrain and a completely new bumper with a large slit of the lower air intake, decorated with chrome decor and LED fog lights.
Front fenders have modified and acquired new ventilation grilles, and complement the chic image of a large SUV on the side of the huge 22-inch wheels with a new design of the discs.
The rear of the body of the updated QX80 has changed quite a lot compared to the stern of the pre-reform model. The designers awarded the novelty with a luggage compartment door with a different vyshtampovkoy, new overalls with LED stuffing, connected together a stylish chrome bar, as well as a new more massive bumper with oversized horizontal fog lamps.
Updating Infiniti QX80 in 2020 outwardly became fully consistent with the corporate style of the Japanese company and does not look like a “black sheep” against the background of the younger Infiniti models.
Changes on the body of a huge Japanese SUV, as they say, are conspicuous. But to find new details in the interior of the model is not a simple matter, but feasible, of course. Moreover, the new in the interior of the “cat wept”: leather chairs with a diamond-shaped stitch, the modified finish of the door map, offered as an option for passengers at the rear of the cabin, color displays (located in the headrests of the front seats) increased in size by 1 inch to 8- inch size.
