New Ferrari 2018-2019 replenished with a supercar Ferrari 812 Superfast – the newest creation of the Italian company with 800-strong atmospheric gasoline engine 6.5 V12.
We offer an overview of the 812 Superfast model from Ferrari with photo, price and technical characteristics of the most powerful and fastest sports car in the history of the company from Maranello. World premiere of Ferrari 812 Superfest is scheduled in Geneva in early March 2017 as part of the annual Geneva International Motor Show . Sales of the 800-strong Italian supercar will start in the summer of 2017 at a price over 300 thousand euro.
I would like to note right away that the new Ferrari 812 Superfast (in the process of preparation for serial production the model wore the index F12 M) is a deeply modernized and versatilely improved version of the model Ferrari F12berlinetta and hurricane Ferrari F12tdf. Thus, the novelty took all the best from the berlinetta and F12tdf, ranging from the stunning and chic exterior to the atmospheric engine with an increased to 6.5-liter cylinder capacity and a phenomenal capacity of 800 horses (the V12 6.3 engine gives Ferrari F12berlinetta 740 horsepower, And the model Ferrari F12tdf, respectively, 780 forces).
The new Ferrari 812 Superfast is developed by a team of specialists from the Ferrari Styling Center and boasts excellent looks with classic proportions of a sports coupe with a front engine. The Italian sports car looks, of course, modern, taking into account the latest trends in automotive fashion, advanced technologies and the company traditions of Ferrari SpA
So in the presence of an ideal in terms of aerodynamic characteristics of the body with a sloping bonnet, hills of the front wings, a strong inclination of the windshield frame, a cup-shaped roof and lush stern, narrowed by Full-LED headlamps in the company with slots of additional air intakes, a huge mouth of the central duct.
As well as large 20-inch wheels (light-alloy forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires size 275/35 ZR20 on the front axle and 315/35 ZR20 on the rear), a massive stern supplemented with an active spoiler, diffuser and pairs of twin round light bulbs and Large-caliber branch pipes of the exhaust system. Creating a new masterpiece (the rear of the body), the designers of Ferrari tried to immortalize in the image of the novelty the legendary Ferrari 365 GTB4 of the 1969 model.
- The external dimensions of the body of the Ferrari 812 Superfast 2018-2019 year are 4657 mm in length, 1971 mm in width, 1276 mm in height, with 2720 mm of wheelbase.
For the painting of the body of the new Italian supercar, the exclusive Rosso Settanta enamel color created for the 70th anniversary of the company from Maranello (in 1947 the company began manufacturing road versions of sports cars under the brand name “Ferrari SpA”).
The novelty’s double saloon is typical for the representatives of the Ferrari model line and in general is very similar to the interior design of the Ferrari F12berlinetta. But there are slightly different, more modern steering wheel and instrument panel, original air ducts, a new climate control unit, an upgraded multimedia system and, understandably, even better materials for finishing (natural and artificial leather, polished aluminum and carbon).
The specifications of the Ferrari 812 Superfast 2018-2019 are not just impressive, but staggering with their uniqueness. The new naturally aspirated petrol engine, the 6.5-liter V12 engine, installed in the front, really demonstrates phenomenal characteristics, and, according to the manufacturer, is unique among the production cars. The maximum power of 800 metric horsepower is available at 8500 rpm, the maximum torque of 718 Nm even at 7000 rpm, with 80% of the maximum torque available already at 3500 rpm.
From every liter of volume, Italian motorists manage to remove more than 123 forces, and this without the use of a turbocharger, and with the aid of an injection system providing a pressure of 350 bar and an intake tract with variable geometry (the design came from the world of motors of Formula 1).
The engine consumes an average of 14.9 liters of gasoline with an octane rating of at least 98 and provides a supercar with a loaded weight of 1525 kg with acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds, the maximum speed declared by the manufacturer is more than 340 km / h.
In the technical arsenal of the 812 Superfast 7-speed transmission F1 dual clutch transmission with two clutch discs. And also the newest Electric Power Steering, working in tandem with Side Slip Control 5.0 (the latest version of the proprietary side slip control system), and the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 (second generation rear axle).
