2018-2019 Seat presented the new Leon Verde

In Spain showed Leon Verde – prototype, which is a hybrid version of the new hatchback 2018-2019 Seat.

The car is said to be in the company, it was the “culmination of a four-year research project”, and established in the framework of public-private movements aimed at the emergence of more “green” in Spain.
New from 2018-2019 Seat is equipped with a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine and an electric motor – their total output of 170 hp
Thanks to the battery, with a capacity of 8.8 kWh, Leon Verde can pass on the electric 50 km.
Very impressive average consumption of the prototype – according to the calculations of the Spanish specialists, the car is able to meet the 1.6 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, and its level of emissions of just 36 grams per kilometer.
Together with the hybrid Leon, in 2018-2019 Seat have also prepared a special application for smartphones – it allows you to remotely check for battery status and charging process.
In addition, the car boasts a very “advanced” system Driving Cycle Predictor.
Its purpose is to track the routes and driving style – the data system uses to optimize the operation of the hybrid plant and reduce consumption when the car is again at the “usual” route.
With regard to the economy – in 2018-2019 Seat rely on compressed natural gas as an alternative vehicle fuel.

It should be noted that at the recent Geneva Motor Show, the company unveiled a new Mii Ecofuel ( “brother” VW up!) – The 68-strong (90 Nm), “baby” consumes only 2.9 kg of compressed gas per 100 kilometers.
At the same time, in his tank holds up to 11 kg of fuel, as well as in the car and there is a spare 10-liter tank of gasoline that will provide Mii Ecofuel still about 220 kilometers.
