On the Sydney Motor Show, the Japanese company showed a new version of the 2018-2019 Lexus hybrid coupe LF-LC, to which was added the name of Blue consoles.
The first concept of the same name was presented earlier this year at the Auto Show in Detroit.
The manufacturer said that a new shade of blue for the 2018-2019 Lexus LF-LC engineers inspired by the color produced in the steppe regions of the Australian gemstone opal.
Perhaps therein lies all the difference from Detroit a prototype, which was red.
Inside, there were no changes.
Blue body color is combined with a light-beige complexion on the door panels and seats.
This hybrid coupe used carbon fiber and aluminum alloy, which ensured the 2018-2019 Lexus LF-LC Blue light weight.
The car is equipped with a hybrid power plant with a total capacity of 499 horsepower.
And it is much more than was previously the hybrids of the Japanese automaker.
The power plant in the 2018-2019 Lexus LF-LC Blue consists of a gasoline engine with Atkinson cycle, electric motors and battery packs.
There is information that the company is considering a sports version of the hybrid.
Although the final decision is still pending, so the probability is estimated as 50 to 50.
