For the first time 2018-2019 Citroen C1, which, incidentally, is the smallest car in the lineup of the French auto company, the public saw in 2005-th year at the Geneva Motor Show.
And since it is one of the most popular cars in its class.
However, to call 2018-2019 Citroen C1 is completely French car would be wrong.
It is produced at the factory in the Czech Republic, which is based jointly PSA group (which includes the 2018-2019 Citroen and Peugeot) and the Japanese company Toyota Motors.
Already in 2009, the 2018-2019 Citroen C1 th appearance has undergone some changes.
Emphasis was placed on aesthetics.
Design a little “modernize.”
Since then, the “big smile” grille and “surprised look” almond-optics meet even more the concept car for women.
The updated front bumper is slightly reduced in size, and the grille was decorated with chrome surround.
More expanded color range, adding two new body color.
Here, perhaps, and everything changes.
As before, 2018-2019 Citroen C1 offer customers in the back of a hatchback, but in two versions – a 3 or 5 doors.
While the five-door version of the rear doors literally crawl on the aft optics.
Still, instead of the usual back door of the car is equipped with a glass cover of the luggage compartment.
The volume of the compartment purely symbolic – just 139 liters.
As for such a compact car, 2018-2019 Citroen C1 interior spacious enough.
Four people can stay here quite comfortably.
If necessary, the rear seat can be folded to increase luggage compartment volume.
But the most interesting thing is that the interior is replete with original design solutions, just look at the instrument panel.
French style is noticeable immediately.
However, interesting and beautiful – it does not mean that it is understandable and practical.
Austerity in the 2018-2019 Citroen C1 is present everywhere – on the dashboard speedometer only round but the small screen of the onboard computer, and the glove compartment at all left without cover.
But the driver’s seating comfortable enough, and visibility at a good level.
Another non-standard solution – the back row of the window does not fall in any of the versions, they are only open as panes.
However, if the style and design – it is a merit of French engineers, the technical specifications of their 2018-2019 Citroen C1 obliged the Japanese, because it was built on the platform of the Toyota Aygo.
Suspension also migrated from there: front – independent, rear – semi-dependent.
Taking into account the small size of the machine, the suspension is tuned quite hard.
While uneven pavement, it works off confidently and without breakdowns.
At speeds 2018-2019 Citroen C1 good holds the set trajectory, even though not very high informativeness of steering with electric power.
The only negative – it is the lack of sound insulation of the engine compartment, where at high speeds comes the not too pleasant sound.
As for powertrains 2018-2019 Citroen C1 offers two engines to choose from. 1.4-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine with 55 horsepower and a 1-liter 3-cylinder VVT-I, whose power is 68 horsepower.
In addition to 5 -speed manual transmission 5 -speed offered more robotic SensoDrive.
By the way, the petrol engine for 2018-2019 Citroen C1 is produced in Poland.
Engine power is enough to reach the first “hundred” for 14 seconds to disperse the car to a top speed of 157 km / h.
In urban areas the car hurried not hold, and fuel consumption can please any owner – 4.6 liters for the petrol engine and the 4.1 – diesel per 100 km in the combined cycle.
However, the diesel variant we have not officially invited.
Price 2018-2019 Citroen C1 starts at 9600 dollars.
