Developing the 6th Generation of Grandeur / Azera, Hyundai specialists started from the three most important things in their opinion: economy and safety. Modest fuel consumption of gasoline and diesel engines is, of course, an important argument, but if you achieve in real operating conditions the declared 8.48-8.93 liters for gasoline 2.4 GDI, 9.52-9.9 liters for petrol V6 3.0 GDI and 6 , 49-6,6 liters for diesel 2.2 e-VGT is almost not realistic, then it’s worth talking about innovations that are on guard for the safety of the driver and four passengers.

First, the body of the new generation Grander has become more robust in comparison with the predecessor due to the use in the structure of the power frame more steel of ultra strength. The strength of the body in a frontal collision increased by 34%, and the rigidity of the body on torsion by 23.2%.
Secondly, as an option, the latest Hyundai Smart Sense security system is offered, which includes a lot of electronic assistants and assistants – automatic, emergency braking with pedestrian detection, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, an assistant monitoring the driver’s physical condition and warning about Dangerous driving, the system holding the car in the lane, the system preventing side collisions.

Third, the full-headlamp headlamps with dynamic turn signals and the standard LED chandelier of the rear parking lights (the plafonds are connected by a chic LED bridge) are available for a surcharge. LED technology provides excellent near, far and side light, significantly improving the safety of driving.

Note that the design of the exterior of the body of the new generation Hyundai Grandeur revolution did not happen. The new sedan got a front part of the body in the style of the Genesis G80 and Genesis G90 models, while retaining the familiar proportions of the body for the 5th generation of the model with a gorgeous rib extending the rear fenders. With the change of generations, the body of the Korean sedan Hendai Grander slightly increased in length by 20 mm and by 5 mm in width in comparison with its predecessor.

  • The exterior dimensions of the body of the new Hyundai Grandeur IG 2018-2019 are 4930 mm in length, 1865 mm in width, 1470 mm in height, with 2845 mm of wheelbase and 150 mm of ground clearance.
  • The novelty can boast the best in the class coefficient of aerodynamic resistance of the body – 0.276 Cx.
  • Depending on the installed engine and the level of equipment for the sedan, 17.18 and 19 inch light alloy wheels with rubber respectively 225/55 R17, 245/45 R18 or 245/40 R19 are offered.

Traditionally for the model the interior of the new sedan will be pleased with an excellent reserve of free space in the first and second row, comfortable front seats and rear seats, high quality materials, accurate assembly and a mass of modern equipment.
