It is possible that the conveyor variant of the electric crossover from the Jaguar will sport such exquisite exterior rearview mirrors and touch-sensitive door handles as the concept.

The concept is equipped with 23-inch alloy wheels with tires 265/35 R23. Let’s share the information that the serial version will also be equipped with large 22 and 23 inch wheels.

The salon of the new Jaguar I-Pace crossover with an eye for the interior of the concept shows modern trends in equipping cars with modern equipment.

There is a multifunction steering wheel with three spokes and touchpad controls, a digital instrument panel with a 12-inch full-color screen, an advanced multimedia complex with a 12-inch touch screen, four-zone climate control with a 5.5-inch touch screen, a full-color projection on the front Glass, first-row seats with anatomical shape with electric adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage, a welcoming second row, supplemented with heated and ventilated seats, panoramic roof and premium e materials and finishes … this is Jaguar.

Cargo compartment of the concept with a useful volume of 530 liters. In addition, under the hood of the crossover there is a 28-liter cargo hold, and under the rear seats there are capacious tanks for small things. The doors of the novelty are equipped with door closers, like an expensive representative saloon.

The specifications of the Jaguar I-Pace Concept 2016-2017 will most likely become the property and serial version of the electric first-born Jaguar.
At the heart of the electric crossover is an original platform with a forward-shifted saloon, a sandwich floor of the company’s own design, which houses a 90 kW lithium-ion battery with nickel-cobalt-manganese cathodes, consisting of 36 modules.
The power frame of the body of the novelty and the hinged panels are made of aluminum. Suspension of the electric crossover was obtained from the model F-Pace (front two-lever, rear multi-lever).
Two electric motors with a power of 200 forces each with permanent magnets (Jaguar development) installed on the front and rear axle and providing the crossover with a full drive drive the electric car. The car can boast an ideal 50:50 weight distribution along the axes. Electric motors are very compact, 500 mm long and 234 mm in diameter.
Electric engines give out 400 power and 700 Nm of torque, which allows to provide the crossover dynamics of acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.0 seconds. According to the manufacturer, the power reserve of the electric SUV with full charging of the batteries is about 500 km (according to the NEDC cycle). Restoring the stock of electric fuel in batteries using a DC charger of 50 kWh to 80% takes 90 minutes, and up to 100% full charge is not much more than two hours.
