At the end of this year, South Korean car manufacturer 2018-2019 Kia will bring to the European market biofuel modification Picanto model.
The new version sitikar received 3-cylinder 1-liter engine Kappa, developing 65 horsepower and 90 Newton meters of maximum torque.
The power unit can consume both regular gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas.
In an official press release said that on the combined cycle for 100 kilometers car consumes 5.8 liters of liquefied gas.
If the model is included in the equipment of fuel-Start-Stop system, the gas consumption is reduced by 0.2 liters.
The new version of 2018-2019 Kia Picanto is equipped with a gas cylinder volume of 27 liters, which is located under the floor of the luggage compartment – on the site of “spare wheel” and the gasoline tank volume of 35 liters in front of the rear axle.
In order to move from one type of fuel to another, the driver simply press the button located on the center console.
Biofuel modification 2018-2019 Kia Picanto will be the first motorists to buy, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal and Poland.
Note that the official debut of the new version of the 2018-2019 Kia Picanto will be held in the fall at the Motor Show in Frankfurt.
